Performance Foam 65 is a closed-cell Polyolefin foam.
Available in different thicknesses, the foam is supplied in two versions: by itself, with adhesive treatment, or laminated.
In the non-laminated version, thanks to its suitability for thermoforming and modeling, Performance Foam 65 is used as padding in booties for alpine skiing and ski mountaineering boots; it is applied in areas where it is important to provide acceleration and performance, as well as comfort and protection molded to the shape of the wearer’s foot.
In the fabric-laminated (better if bi-elastic) version, Performance Foam 65 is used for the uppers of booties for high-end alpine skiing and ski mountaineering boots: comfort, light weight and easy thermoforming and modeling to custom-fit the final user give this material a competitive edge.
